Dr. Laura Schoenhaus grew up in Poway, CA and worked at Midland Animal Clinic as a veterinary assistant while on break from college at UC Davis. Dr. Schoenhaus received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Western University in 2009 and worked at a corporate practice in the San Diego area prior to rejoining the Midland family in 2016. As a vet, Dr. Schoenhaus is passionate about educating clients about their pet's medical conditions and caring for the 'total' animal. She believes strongly in preventative medicine and helps empower clients to make decisions regarding their pet's care. Outside of work Dr. Schoenhaus enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her family; daughters, Emily and Leah, Golden mix, Griffey, Border Collie, Mick and cat, Pika.
