Dr. Madison Dunkin was born and raised in San Diego and is thrilled to be back after many years of schooling. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from UC Santa Cruz in 2017 (go Banana Slugs!) and worked as a veterinary assistant for four years before attending veterinary school. During that time, she developed a strong passion for cooperative care, animal behavior, and creating a more positive and stress-free experience for veterinary patients.

Dr. Dunkin received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in 2025 and joined the Midland Animal Clinic team shortly after graduation. She is excited to bring the knowledge and skills from her recent training to the practice and to continue learning from the clinic’s experienced team.

Her professional interests include surgery, behavior modification, and clinical pathology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé. They both love hiking, playing video games, and trying out new board games.
