Dr. Sabina Hyland was born in Enkoping, Sweden and moved to San Diego in 2001. Her passion for animals started at a young age, which led her to begin her career in the veterinary field when she was 16 years old. After graduating from CSU San Marcos in 2009 she moved to Australia to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Sydney and joined Midland Animal Clinic at the start of 2020. Dr. Hyland takes pride in building strong bonds with her patients, educating clients on preventative medicine and pain management for chronic diseases in geriatric pets. In her free time Dr. Hyland enjoys traveling, propagating plants, trying new cuisines, wine tasting and snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie with her two senior Chihuahuas Molly and Amber, her Daschund Noodle and her husband Andrew.
