.Dr. Sabina Hyland, originally from Enkoping, Sweden, made her way to San Diego in 2001. Her lifelong passion for animals sparked early on, driving her to embark on a veterinary career at just 16. After earning her bachelors degree from CSU San Marcos in 2009, she pursued her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney in Australia. In 2020, she joined Midland Animal Clinic. Dr. Hyland takes pride in forging deep connections with her patients, as well as educating clients on preventative care and pain management, particularly in geriatric pets. Her special interests also extend to dentistry, dermatology and soft tissue surgery. Alongside her husband Andrew, Dr. Hyland enjoys the company of her Daschund Noodle and senior Chihuahua Amber, as well as their new addition, daughter Aurora, born in 2022.

Beyond her veterinary commitments, she finds delight in traveling, cooking diverse cuisines, working on home improvements and making the most of her leisure time.
